My Story

I was raised in a fairly small town with not much to do other than sports. I never really had the desire to play many sports other than tennis, and tennis players are very rare where I'm from. I got into video games at a pretty young age on a Gameboy Advanced. I preferred Mario over Sonic, and began to gain interest in the soundtracks that were playing in the background so my mom started me in piano lessons, which did not last long. My first school was a private school and they had a very small concert band (about 5 people), so I decided to join. They needed a spot as a trombone player, but I wanted to do percussion. I played the trombone for about 2-3 years until that school ran out of funding and had to shut down. When I moved schools, I was allowed to join the percussion section and enjoyed that for the rest of my time at high school. After high school, I had plans to go to Georgia State University, but I ended up getting into some legal trouble around the time that I would have been leaving for school. So I decided to work with my dad for a little, until I started looking into how to create music and downloaded the demo version of FL Studio. I instantly fell in love with making music. After a couple of years of fooling around on FL Studio and Ableton Live, I decided maybe it was time to commit myself to going back to school and learning about how to further improve my craft.
